I walked up to the woman at the front of the line just to ask her if I still needed to stand in the massive line. There was a line for checkout but I'd vaguely remembered someone saying I may not need to do that. Their automated check out system obviously does not work properly because someone managed to check me out of my room a day early. I said no, I never did and would check out in the morning as planned. The front desk called 10 mins later and asked if I'd already checked out. I had not checked out and my stay didn't end until the next day. They apologized and were very nice, but they had me as already checked out. I was in my bathroom and the maids came into my room even though I had the Do Not Disturb sign on. The rest of the trip was ok for the most part. Why is it an upgrade to give her a new room that isn't disgusting? It's the bare minimum one should expect from a hotel room and if they don't give that, then they should do the right thing and switch rooms immediately (also that room should not be used until the do something about that shower). The front desk said they couldn't 'Upgrade' her until the next day. Her shower head was caked with black gunk. I stayed here for work with a large team.
